This past year, I was honored to be part of the Tazuz Board as Vice-President. It started off as a challenging year given the uncertainties and restrictions that came along with the Covid-19 pandemic. However, thanks to a dedicated team on the Tazuz Board and motivated Tribe Leaders, we were able to execute a few events online.
When circumstances allowed for outdoor activities, it was amazing to see the different events we were able to organize for our community, and the turnout for the majority of them was outstanding!
I was so happy to witness students socialize over mutual hobbies and grow closer as a community, and this wouldn't have been possible without the opportunities Tazuz provided to all stakeholders involved!

I found out about Tazuz during orientation week and was immediately excited by the idea of free extracurricular activities provided by the university.
As a passionate yoga teacher from California, I saw Tazuz as an opportunity to bring my love of teaching to Israel, especially to university students.
I don’t think there is a better way of making friends than doing physical and interactive activities together. The Yoga tribe gives students an outlet for relieving stress and bringing more mindfulness into their daily lives.

When I came to IDC, I was surprised there were no sports activities considering IDC campus potential and students’ needs. Sports always helped me to reduce stress, to distract myself, and to challenge my limits.
When I heard about Tazuz I was happy, excited, and glad. I knew people wanted this, motivation, challenge, and socialize with friends. I started giving workout classes with Tazuz every Tuesday. They felt powerful, stronger, and even less stressed for their exams! I definitely think Tazuz should be an integrated part of the university.
Students, me included, need this. Having fun, creating new friendships, as well as practicing wonderful activities!

Through the Tazuz Surfing course, I could disconnect from classes and just focus on the present moment.

The Tazuz tournament was amazing!
We started forming a team with friends from campus that we played with once in a while at the IDC soccer pitch. We were all friends, but after the Tazuz league, our bond became so much stronger! We have been going out together, had barbeques and football nights where we watched the Euro games together! It was an amazing experience.

I am so grateful I had the opportunity to reignite my passion for tennis through Tazuz. Not only did it enable me to meet like-minded individuals who shared the same passions as me, but these friendships also surpassed the court and extended to genuine connections.
